Poland's Innova acquires Slovenia's Trimo for EUR 50 million
Innova made a better offer than its Irish competitor Kingaspan, thus becoming the owner of Trimo, although it was not deemed a favorite by experts. Namely, Innova offered to pay EUR 50 million for Trimo, which was enough to beat the Irish bidder.
This transaction will be made early next year, as soon as certain requirements from the contract of sale are met, said the officials of Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) which acted as the owner, creditor and coordinator of the consortium of sellers in the process of sale of the Trebnje-based company.
Polls are currently among the top investors in Slovenia.
This year, Trimo turned a profit of about EUR 3.1 million, while the entire group generated a sales revenue of about EUR 120 million.
