New movie theater in Pancevo opens December 16th - CineStar Cinemas announces big projects and new investments

CineStar Cinemas, the biggest regional cinema operator and the owner of the most visited cinema chain in this part of Europe, has announced that it will open its first multiplex in Serbia on December 16th in the shopping center Aviv Park Pancevo, after which Zrenjanin and Novi Sad will also obtain movie theaters operated by this company.

Implementation of aforementioned projects will provide Serbia with 18 cinemas that can sit a total of 2,800 people.

As CineStar Director for Serbia Zoran Savic said in a talk with eKapija, this company has invested few million euro in these three projects mentioned above.

Savic stressed that such rapid expansion and development plan were rare nowadays, but he added that CineStar was planning on continuing to invest in Serbia.

- We are interested in new projects, and we've already got confirmation for some of them. Investments in Serbia are not over, and our final objective is to open a spectacular multiplex in Belgrade.

A total capacity of the multiplex in Pancevo is 485 seats, but there are also four extra seats for people with special needs. This movie theater will also feature a large lobby with a bar and a birthday corner for children.

CineStar experience includes 'love box' seats, which account for about 20% of all seats in each cinema, as well as VIP chairs taking central positions in the theater. The multiplex in Pancevo will be equipped by the highest technical standards, and its cinema called eXtreme will feature the world's brightest Barco projector which has even achieved a Guinness World Record.

- Every detail is brought in harmony with the strict rules of the German CineStar license. Since the movie watching experience is incomplete without a crystally clear sound, there is also the world's most modern JBL sound system. Expectedly, all cinemas are digitized, comfortable, air-conditioned, and equipped with top-quality audiovisual and the latest real3D technology. In this multiplex, everything serves to make the CineStar five-star cinema experience unforgettable for all visitors - Zoran Savic explains.

He adds that when it comes to the screening of the latest movie blockbusters, CineStar is not lagging behind Hollywood.

- Opening of the multiplex in Pancevo will be marked by a large and long-awaited world premiere. Our visitors will be able to watch this spectacle at the same time as the audience in America, Europe...

Aside from movie premieres, visitors will also enjoy watching various cultural happenings, that is, broadcasts of the world's greatest operas, concerts and sports events.
