Soon – cameras and GPS to protect taxi drivers

After more and more frequent attacks to taxi drivers, the agreement was reached between the representatives of taxi companies and the City Government of Belgrade in premises of Secretariat for Economy. They agreed on design of elaborate for introduction of cameras in taxi vehicles. GPS system would enable tracking of the vehicles from the operative center. In this way, each vehicle could be located in no time and, in case of attack to a taxi driver, all he would have to do is to press one button and colleagues could help him right away.
