Mayor of Belgrade inks Memorandum of Cooperation with Intellectual Property Institute of Serbia
– The idea is to exchange good practices in regular activities as well as to raise the awareness of the importance of intellectual property. I believe it is very important to connect in this way because there are so many areas in which we can work together. The aim is to implement this memorandum through various concrete activities - said Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali.
He added that the Science and Technology Park had been recently opened in the Zvezdara borough, adding that it was going to become a high-tech and innovation center.
Cooperation will occur in the area of organization of conferences, symposiums, seminars and other educational events pertaining to intellectual property. Also, the two parties will work together to organize a competition for the WIPO Schoolchildren’s Trophy which is granted to primary and secondary school children for the best invention, design, film, literary work, composition or essay on intellectual property, Beoinfo has reported.
