SERTIC: Status of 17 strategic enterprises to be resolved by May 2016

Serbian Economy Minister Zeljko Sertic said today that the Serbian government was on a good path to resolve by May 2016 the status of 17 strategic enterprises for which the deadline to be privatized has been extended.
- I hope we will finish everything as planned. We have promised to complete the privatization of seven out of those 17 enterprises for which we have defined protection until May 2016 and are on a good path to do that - Sertic told the press shortly before the start of official negotiations between the Serbian delegation and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).
Speaking of today's meeting with the IMF, Sertic noted he expected from them to state all their objections and from our side to "explain, with arguments, what exactly we have done in the previous period".
