General Manager of PKB corporation, Miloš Bugarin, has been appointed President of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia. Bugarin was elected unanimously at the Assembly of the Chamber, and his mandate will last for four years.
Miletić, General Manager of "Bambi" from Požarevac, has been appointed President of the Assembly of the Chamber, while his deputy will be Miroslav Brković, President of the Administrative Board of company "Ratko Mitrović" from Belgrade.
In that way, Chamber of Commerce of Serbia has got its first man after more than 6 months. Let us remind that three candidates were "in the game" at the end of the elections. The candidates were Miloš Bugarin, Dragan Lukač, President of Regional Chamber of Commerce of Novi Sad and Toplica Spasojević, President of "ITM group". Many saw Toplica Spasojević as the main candidate for the first man of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia. As a non-party candidate, he was backed by both Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade and club
"Privrednik". But, Spasojević gave up candidacy at the last moment.
During the election process for President of the Chamber, total of seven businessmen applied for that position, and even five of them withdrew their candidacy.
