PTC Germany relocates fish production from China and Vietnam to Serbia - Another production hall construction underway
Mid this year, Smederevo built production hall on 3.000 m2, as well as 2,5 km of road with supplementary infrastructure of EUR 3 m which was rented by one of the leading fish processors in Germany. After renting the hall, Smederevo is obliged to construct 500 m2 of cold storage by December 31, 2015 and PTC to hire 100 people.
The prime minister, Aleksandar Vucic said after signing that he is very proud for the fact that in Smederevo, where he earlier today he has already attended ceremony for the start of work of Finish producer of electro-distribution systems, PKC, which is planning to hire 1.500 people by mid-next year but also for the fact that start of high furnace in Smederevo-based Zelezara is expected.
Construction of another hall underway
According to the mayor of Smederevo, wish of city authorities is to employ as many citizens as possible and PTC, she added, is planning construction of another hall in Smederevo.
