There are 11 Swiss companies registered in Vojvodina, and these companies have invested about EUR 70 million and hired about 1,250 workers to date. Also, the Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce has been operating in Serbia since April 2014. However, the presence of Serbian community in Switzerland represents an untapped potential in the relations between the two countries as well as between AP Vojvodina and Swiss cantons, it was said at a meeting between Vojvodina Prime Minister Bojan Pajtic and Swiss Deputy Ambassador Pauline Menthonnex Gacaferri.

Next year, the focus will be on the improvement of economic and business cooperation, Menthonnex said and announced that a delegation of the City of Bazel would visit Novi Sad and Vojvodina in May 2016 to get familiar with investment opportunities for companies from Switzerland.
