The Balkans to get Tesla gas pipeline?

Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and Hungary can sign memo of construction of the gas pipeline from Turkey to Austria which would be an extension of the Turkish stream.


The Tesla gas pipeline which is an extension of the planned Turkish stream of the Russian energy giant Gazprom, will pass through Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and Hungary and get to gas know Baumgartner in Vienna, Russian "Vedomosti" reports, stating the sources who participate in the project.

It is expected that ministers of foreign affairs of the Balkan countries and Greece will meet in September and make final decision on extension of gas pipeline (Turkish stream), the source of Vedomosti said.

It is forecasted that the construction of the Tesla gas pipeline project with an annual capacity of 27 billion cubic meters of gas would end by 2019 if all parties approve it.

Greece could also extend gas pipeline towards Italy, the newspaper reports.

Turkish stream will have an annual capacity of 63 billion cubic meters of gas and will start from Russia, below the Black Sea to Turkey. The gas pipeline will continue to the point at the Turkish-Greek border wherefrom it can be extended towards the south Europe "Vedomosti" reprots
