Citizens of Serbia can now travel to Albania without visa. This has been confirmed in the Consulate of Serbia to Tirana. Albania passed the decision for abolishment of visa requirements for citizens of Serbia on July 14, and it was put in effect on July 26. However, in case citizens of Serbia intend to stay in Albania for more than 100 days, they must report that to Albanian authorities.

In the past years, Albania used to abolish visa requirements for citizens of Serbia during summer period, from June to September, but they were back on during the rest of the year.

So far, there is no indication that Serbia could pass similar decision and abolish visa requirements for Albanian citizens. Even owners of official and diplomatic passports need to have Serbian visa to enter the country.

An exception is Kosovo where international administration made decision about free flow of people between Albania and south Serbian province.
Albanian citizens also need visa to enter other countries of former Yugoslavia, as well as Romania, Bulgaria and Greece.
