Serbia, Montenegro and BiH to build joint transmission line
In order to secure financing, transmission line has been nominated as one of the priority projects for the August meeting of prime ministers of the Western Balkan countries in Vienna.
Serbian Energy Minister Aleksandar Antic said that joint venture, established by transmission system operators of Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, will start working by August.
– This company is a new and important way of cooperation that should provide safe and stable energy supply to our three countries – said Antic.
Montenegrin minister of economy Vladimir Kavaric said it has been agreed to establish expert team of three governments.
- I emphasize, an expert team, not a political one. The expert team that involves BiH. That team will prepare plans and projects and everything necessary for the governments to reach decisions on basin projects, thus representing a joint energetic potential - said Kavaric.
