Almex pours EUR 3 m in Zrenjanin-based Ipok
Pancevo-based Almex, which three years ago bought Zrenjanin-based plant for production of corn products Ipok, will pour EUR 3 m in reconstruction of the Zrenjanin-based department, owner Miroslav Aleksic, said to journalists on Friday, May 22, 2015.
-When we bought the plant we were thinking of working, not closing it and we are showing it today. Big overhaul has been in progress and as I heard from the people who worked here before, that kind of serious overhaul was done fifty years ago – Aleksa said,
He outlined the value of investment is EUR 2,5 to 3 m and that the plant hired 150 to 180 employees, depending on needs i.e. production scope.
According to Aleksa, for the next year, processing of almost 80.000 tons of corn was planned.
The head of Almex, Nemanja Mitrovic, speficied that some 90% of products is launched to the west market and that construction works and equipement reconstruction will increase production standards.
