Summer city planning school held on Tara mountain
Tara and hotel "Omorika" were the hosts of this-year Summer city planning school "Investors- investments, place and significance in making of strategy for spatial and urban development of Serbia", which ended today (June 20, 2007).
Summer school, which is organized for the third time in Serbia by the Association of city planners of Serbia, Association of Engineers, Ministry of Infrastructure and Republic Agency for Spatial Planning, gathered city planners and architects, university professors from Serbia, Montenegro, Republic of Srpska, representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure, as well as head city architects...
The Seminar, which started on Monday, June 18, pointed to the essential relations between the investments and strategy for spatial and urban development of Serbia.
Summer city planning school is organized with the aim of improvement of profession and constant education of not only city planners, but also other professions that deals with the improvement and planning of space.
The participants in the conference also talked about the work of city and municipal architects, who presented their experiences and reports on former actions.
Participants in the seminar pointed to the strategic directions of investments in Serbia, opportunities for progress and improvement of regulations, suggestions for improvement of planning procedures.
The participants also visited Drvengrad, ethno-village of Emir Kusturica on Mokra Gora, and they also had opportunity to ride through Šarganska Osmica.
