Interest in land lots and construction of production facilities in the Zrenjanin Industrial Zone has been expressed by six investors, three of which are Zrenjanin-based companies, two investors are from Italy, and one is a Russian-Serbian company, the city administration announced today.

Members of the City Council of Zrenjanin made a decision today to alienate undeveloped building land in the industrial zone on the basis of Invitation to Bid published by the City Assembly.

Investors planning on building production facilities in the industrial zone are: Rakic plast, Ekometal-komerc and Gomex from Zrenjanin, the Russian-Serbian company Kraun with the headquarters in Novi Sad, and Italian firms Tecnostrutture and Fulgar which already operate in the industrial zone and now intend to expand their capacity.

Zrenjanin Mayor Cedomir Janjic voiced his expectation that the construction of new production facilities and the creation of new jobs would start soon.
