After giving up the purchase of Queen's Beach (Kraljicina plaza), it seems that the Royal Group from the United Arab Emirates is now interested in buying Ada Bojana in Ulcinj.

According to the Montenegrin broadcasting corporation Radio Televizije Crne Gore (RTCG), representatives of this powerful company last week toured the island of Ada which is situated at the mouth of the Bojana River to the sea and is managed by the hotel and tourism company HTP Ulcinjska rivijera, the web portal Ul-info reports.

Ulcinjska rivijera, which is majority owned by the state, should be privatized this year.

Montenegrin authorities are doing all they can to persuade the Royal Group to invest in Montenegro.

For this reason, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic visited the Emirates on Monday to talk with the government officials of this country.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama paid a visit to the Emirates one day earlier, RTCG reports.
