The Directorate for city land and construction of Belgrade presented a plan of public procurements for this year at the Chamber of Commerce of Belgrade and invited as many domestic companies as possible to take part in them.
Representatives of the Directorate said they planned
400 public procurements, totaling RSD 7,5 billion.
City manager, Goran Vesic, said that city authorities want to help domestic
trade so they opted for cooperation with the Belgrade chamber. According to
him, this year, Belgrade will have 12 centralized public procurements for all
services and necessities for all public companies and directorates set up by
the city.
He also outlined that economic and quality level must be reached as well as quality, that price will not be determining factor which is especially important when it comes to procurement for hospitals.
President of the Belgrade Chamber, Milivoje Miletic, said that only 10% of companies participates in public procurements and that only 2,7% of them takes part in a tender which is most likely influenced by their lack of information.
