Free zone Piror generated turnover of EUR 650 m

Free zone Pirot, where 5.000 people work, generated during last year a total turnover of over EUR 650 m and its users exported goods totaling almost half a billion euros, the head of the free zone, Dragan Kostic, has said today.

The free zone regime, according to the head, comprises new plant Big Tigar, investment of French and world tyre giant Michelin totaling over EUR 220 m as well as a new production plant of D-company from Babusnica where EUR 10 m was poured.
