MID EUROPA: We are looking for new investment opportunities in Serbia
- We believe Serbian economy has potential to grow with an increasing sped andreach the standard of developed CEE countries.Production and food processing sector can be one of the key engines in that developmentand we expect that firms such as Imlek, Bambi and Knjaz Milos will providesignificant contribution to that - Bodon said in his today’s interview for Blic.
Thisweek, Mid Europa Partners acquired Danube foods Group (DFG) which comprisesImlek, Bambi and Knjaz Milos and Baudon is announcing that his company willsupport management in further companies’ development within DFG in Serbia andhelp them increase export to other markets in the region where their brands areknown but could reach higher turnover than current one.
-We are also planning to expand through selectivefirms which fit into the strategy of group members and thus help themadditionally increase their regional presence. We are planning to expand productioncapacities of all group members in Serbia and strengthen connectionsadditionally with local suppliers and buyers which we consider key for theirfurther success – Baudon says.
He also announced close cooperation with the managementof Knjaz Milos which, as he says, has huge potential so that we would strengthenthe company in Serbia in the region as well as other group members.
-We want KnjazMiloš, in line with extensive tradition, to become leader at mineral market inSerbia again – Baudon said.
