Business parks – good location for new factories – Town Hall of Beočin reduced taxes and simplified procedure for obtaining of building permits

Leading foreign investors in the region presented their experiences with the investments in Serbia at the seminar in Beočin and talked with the representatives of 22 municipalities of Vojvodina about investment and collaboration opportunities. The meeting named "Investments by means of knowledge" was organized by the Investment Support Fund in Vojvodina.

The Manager of company "Lafarge BFC", Kamil Befa, pointed to the significance of project "Beočin Business Park", which company "Lafarge BFC" initiated in cooperation with the Municipality of Beočin for the sake of attracting of foreign investments into this region.

Intending to get first “tenants” for this business park, Municipality of Beočin, according to the words of the Mayor of that municipality, Zoran Tešić, reduced taxes and simplified procedure for obtaining of municipal licenses and city planning technical conditions in very short time, while the complete infrastructure, equipping of the land and the port, was financed by company "Lafarge BFC".

The American Chamber of Commerce and its role were represented at the meeting, for the sake of creation of much better business milieu in Serbia. The participants in the meeting also spoke about exchange of goods between Serbia and Spain and intentions of Spaniards to collect as much information as possible on Serbia’s sectors that are of interest to Spanish economy.
