15 international flights from airport of Flying Academy in Vršac
- At the airport of the Flying Academy of company "Jat Airways" in Vršac, total of 15 flights have been registered in 2007 – Customshouse Vršac announced. Besides air taxi of the Flying Academy, the airport was also used by the airplanes from Hungary, Greece and Romania, which also carried out air taxi services or brought airplanes for servicing.
Air mechanics of the Flying Academy in Vršac represent experienced team of experts authorized by the Directorate for Civil Aviation and specially educated and licensed by several manufacturers of airplanes. They own international authorization of European community for work on airplanes of all European countries.
Vršac-based airport obtained the status of international air crossing by the decision of the Government of Serbia at the meeting in Vršac, on December 28, 2006. The first international flight took place on February 5, 2007, when the group of managers from Hemofarm flew from Vršac to Podgorica.
