Penguins are coming to Belgrade ZOO

(Famous elephant in Belgrade ZOO will get new neighbours)

The mayor of Belgrade, Sinisa Mali announced and the head of Zoo, Gvozden Radenkovic confirmed: Garden of good hope could soon get its penguinarium!

- There are many new plans for zoo and one of them is penguins – the head of zoo, Gvozden Radenkovic, said.

- We are expecting funds and by March 1 all details of plans and new things for the future of zoo will be known.

It is expected that residents of the South pole get company of some other new animals but, as the zoo representatives say, will be discussed in the next month. As potential benefit, small anteaters and red panda have been mentioned before as a potential gain.
