Foreign investor is coming to Kragujevac - Negotiations on greenfield investment in metal sector in progress

Kragujevac administration is negotiating the arrival of a big metal sector producer to the town – NebojsaZdravkovic says.

- It is aforeign company interested in greenfield investment, i.e. which wants torelocate its production in Kragujevac and hires a significant number of people –deputy mayor of Kragujevac, NebojsaZdravkovic, said to Beta agency.

He said hecannot revel yet which company it is, adding that the mayor of Kragujevac,Radomir Nikolic, will communicate that information.

Accordingto Zdravkovic, they are planning to provide investors with new working zones aswell as to implement some of large infrastructure projects with the support of theGovernment of Serbia.

Deputy mayor estimated that 2015 will be in the sign of stabilization of public finances of Kragujevac which is why there will be no grand projects but the town will work on attracting investors.

He said that thanks to the mayor of Kragujevac after a few months, the account of the city of Kragujevac was unblocked for RSD 300 m.
