Licenses for third operator in Montenegro to be handed to companies "Telekom Srbije" and "Ogular" on May 9
Montenegrin Telecommunication Agency announced that the license for third mobile telephony operator in Montenegro would be officially handed to the consortium of "Telekom Srbije" and Dutch company "Ogular" on Wednesday, May 9.
Serbian company will also receive the license for use of so-called “WiMax” technology, that is, the license for supply of services of fast Internet to Montenegrin users.
Two existing mobile telephony operators - "Promonte" and "T-Mobile", will get the license for supply of services of third generation of mobile telephony (3G), while "T-Mobile" will also get the license for "WiMax".
- The license for building, owning and exploitation of public telecommunication network and services in that field will be handed to Podgorica-based company "MN News" – Montenegrin Agency for Telecommunication and Postal Services announced.
“Telekom Srbije” gave 16m EUR for the license for the third mobile telephony operator in Montenegro.
