Ziraat is coming to Podgorica – Turkish bank to open soon in Montenegro
Turkish bank, Ziraat, is going to ask for a permit to operate at the Montenegrin market where Turkish investors have been more present over the recent years, it was announced in Podgorica.
The arrival of another bank at small Montenegrin market where 11 commercial
banks have already operating on, vice president of Montenegrin government, Vujica
Lazovic announced after meeting the minister for energy and economy resources
of Turkey, Taner Jildiz.
In Podgorica, Turkish minister participated at the meeting of mixed economic
commission of the two countries in Podgorica met with the Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic,
members of the Government and President of the Assembly of Montenegro, Ranko Krivokapic.
- Montenegro is interested in inflow of capital from Turkey, especially in energy, traffic infrastructure and mining – Lazovic said and announced that, apart from the opening of the Turkish bank, they discussed the option of cooperation in textile industry. 眠
