Another unsuccessful sale of Novi Pazar-based Vojin Popovic
Public tender for the sale of property of the company in bankruptcy, Novi Pazar-based Vojin Popovic, has failed today since there were no interested buyers, the Agency for privatization announced.
For a few months, five parts of the company which used to have 300 people has
been unsuccessful in sale at RSD 222 m.
Holding, a fish pond and a slaughter on 12 ha, a shop and handicraft business.
This used to be the third in size fish pond in Europe and totaled more than EUR 10m.
Since 2005, Vojin Popovic has been in bankruptcy for which the employees claimed it was false due to debt of only EUR 100.000.
In 2011, the state paid for social support a total of RSD 465.000 to former company staff.
