Business Center "Ušće" in Novi Beograd to get twin tower in 2007?

Across from the Business Center "Usce", on Block 16, in New Belgrade, the construction of another modern business center – a twin tower – would begin in 2007, Sinisa Brasanac, assistant director of the investing company – "European Construction" – said. They are planning to create a modern business complex, which will be made up of two twin buildings and one multifunctional center, a surface area of about 60 000 m2.

The Business Center "Usce" will be officially opened in September and that the construction of a multifunctional center, which will contain a shopping center, a Cineplex and a business market, will begin at the end of this year or the beginning of next year, in the second phase of work. The construction of that center will take 18 months, so that the "twin" will begin to be built in the third phase – in 2007. According to a rough estimate, the complete investment will cost €120m to €150m. The construction of the "twin" should take from 12 to 15 months. The entire shopping complex, including all three buildings and an underground parking lot, will extend over a surface area of about 180,000 square meters.
