First airplane on charter line Niš-Istanbul took off on Sunday

The representatives of Niš-based airport "Konstantin Veliki" announced yesterday (April 16, 2007) that the first airplane on charter line Niš-Istanbul had taken off with more than 80 passengers in the aircraft that had total of 90 seats.
The first airplane to Istanbul took off on Sunday (April 15, 2007) at 8.20 PM. The airport officials said that there would be three flights to Istanbul per week – on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
The airplanes of company “JAT Airways” fly regularly from the Niš airport on the Niš-Zurich route, two times a week – on Sunday and Friday.
The airport officials say that it is insufficient number of flights since the needs of the population and economy of that part of Serbia are much bigger.
