Business forum Serbia-Poland in Belgrade October 23

Tomorrow, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) will host Serbia-Poland business forum where Polish companies in the field of energy, automotive and chemical industry will present.

Beta was told by SCC that in the first six months 2014, the scope of foreign trade between Serbia and Poland totaled EUR 508, 6 m, which is an increase of 18% compared to the same period 2013 while the exchange structure did not change. Total goods exchange between Serbia and Poland last year totaled EUR 936,5 m and it increased for 75,4% compared to 2012.

In 2013, Serbia exported to Poland goods totaling EUR 204, 7 m and the most common products were pallet for goods manipulation, boxes made of plastic mass, barrels and aluminum containers as well as gasoline –driven cars, wires and cables.

Last year’s import from Poland totaled EUR 731, 8 m and the most common products were motor vehicle parts and tools, new gasoline-driven buses, boxes and barrels made of plastic mass, baby diapers, paper and cardboard and vehicles bodies.

According to SCC’s data, the biggest exporters to Poland last year were Fiat, Ball Packaging, Denso Thermal Systems, Tigar Gume, Kablovi Zaječar while the biggest importers were Fiat, GSP Beograd, Denso Thermal Systems and Nelt.

Serbia and Poland have more than 30 signed bilateral agreements.
