Business-logistic center "Kovinoplastika Lož" opened in Šimanovci
Slovenian company "Kovinoplastika Lož" and its daughter company in Serbia "Lož" have opened the business-logistic center in Šimanovci, in which 1.2m EUR was invested.
- The new facility will have 1,000 square meters of storage space and 500 square meters of office space at their disposal on the surface of 5,000 square meters – said the Manager of "Lož" in Šimanovci Slobodan Vunduk.
The President of the Administrative Board of "Kovinoplastika", Alojz Mazi, said that the further investments in production activities were in the pipeline, concerning the fact that the sales growth was expected. The company in Šimanovci exists for 15 years. Last year, having only 9 employees, it registered 3m EUR worth of sales of building carpentry plating and sinks.
Mayor of Pećinci, Živko Marković, pointed out that the favorable milieu for investments had been created in Šimanovci, so that the domestic and foreign investors had invested more than 200m EUR in business facilities on 350 ha.
He announced that the local assembly would soon adopt the decision that another 1,500 ha should be set aside for the industrial zone, as well as that, like before, all possible help would be provided to the investors for the sake of employment of as much people as possible.
The opening of the center took place in the presence of the Manager of Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Ljubiša Dimitrijević, and the Ambassador of Slovenia to Belgrade Miroslav Luci.
