Tender for Geotechnical Works on Nis-Presevo-Tabanovce Railroad Worth EUR 1.4 Million Announced for March 1

The EU Delegation to Serbia has announced the opening of the tender for the execution of geotechnical research works and preparation of a geotechnical study within the preliminary project for the reconstruction of the Nis-Presevo-North Macedonian border railroad, 133 km long.

This railroad is part of the project of the construction of the Belgrade-Nis-Presevo railroad.

The tender, as said in the prior notice, is planned for March 1, and the total price of the job is EUR 1.4 million.

The services within the geotechnical research sought by the tender will be split into three subsections: Brestovac-Grdelica (cca 34 km), Grdelica – Vladicin Han (cca 32 km) and Vladicin Han – state border with North Macedonia (Tabanovce) (cca 67 km). The works will encompass the surveying of the terrain and the establishment of test pits and boreholes, sampling and other research works, as well as laboratory tests.

The value of this job is estimated at EUR 700,000, without the VAT.

The tender also entails the preparation of a geotechnical study, which is evaluated at the same sum.
