The Government of Serbia has adopted a proposition of this year’s budget rebalance, which envisages an increase in state capital investments from 7.2% to 7.8% of the GDP.

Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said that the rebalance was down to the results which were better by EUR 1.5 billion than planned in the first nine months of the year and a higher spending on capital investments.

What’s especially important for Western Serbia and Podrinje is that the minister of finance has said that the funds for the Kadinjaca tunnel and the bypass route around Uzice have been set aside.

– We are investing more money in capital investments and we have secured the funds for the beginning of the construction of what president Vucic has promised – the Kadinjaca tunnel, the bypass route around Uzice, the bypass route around Gornji Milanovac, the bypass route around Loznica and other infrastructure projects. We are fulfilling the promises we have made despite the difficult economic situation in the world – minister Sinisa Mali emphasized.
