The City of Cacak opened a public invitation for the allocation of incentives for 2017, within the Local Economic Development Program for 2017-2019.
As stated in the documentation, the funds are allocated for stimulating competitiveness through support for production innovations that can be directly implemented and for defined benefits in the value chain of a product, development of cooperatives, clusters and other forms of association to the end of joint ventures in third markets or at a dominant purchaser, obtaining international certificates to the end of local companies’ penetrating foreign markets and securing funds for expansion or construction of new production capacities.
As the city administration told eKapija, RSD 14 million is planned in this year’s budget for the purpose, whereas the amounts should range between 15 and 20 million dinars over the next two years.
Local and foreign investors, small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs with projects stimulating competitiveness and operating in the territory of Cacak may apply for the funds.
As stated, a business entity can have a maximum of RSD 13 million allocated to it over three consecutive fiscal years as a measure of stimulating competitiveness.
Applications are filed at the City Administration of Cacak until December 14, at 3 pm, or, as stated, until the funds are spent.
