What is the new “most powerful” passport in the world?
The Passport Index, owned by Arton Capital, ranks the passports of 193 countries and six regions, members of the United Nations. The top of the list features passports that provide access to other states without visas and special requirements.
The UAE passport’s climb to the top of the list was very quick. It entered the list in December 2016 in the 27th spot. Only two years later, it has reached the first spot.
The top 10 also features Singapore, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Luxembourg, France, Italy and the Netherlands.
Serbia’s passport provides one with access to 126 countries.
The list can be seen at The Passport Index webpage.
