Milorad Mazic among 36 head referees at World Cup

Serbia’s best football referee, Milorad Mazic, has been officially selected for the Russia World Cup, FIFA announced.

Mazic is now one of the 36 head referees, and his assistant referees, Dalibor Djurdjevic and Milovan Ristic, have been invited as well.

Ten European referees have been selected for the World Cup: Felix Brych (Ger), Cuneyt Cakir (Tur), Sergey Karasev (Rus), Bjorn Kuipers (Ned), Szymon Marciniak (Pol), Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz (Esp), Milorad Mazic (Srb), Gianluca Rocchi (Ita), Damir Skomina (Svn) and Clement Turpin (Fra).

Interestingly, for the first time after 80 years, there will be no referees from Great Britain.
