A factory for production of ceramic tiles "KERAMIKA KANJIŽA" of Kanjiža was founded in 1980. It is performing it business activities as a joint stock company and it produces 25% of tiles on the local market.
It continues a rich tradition of improving the good-quality clay of Kanjiza for production of brick products, roofing tiles and manufacture of earthware . In relatively short period of time, this factory with a production of 3 million square meters of wall and floor tiles became the best-known producer in this region.
