Messe Berlin operates two exhibition grounds in the capital’s local region. Berlin ExpoCenter City, the company’s well-established venue next to the Berlin Radio Tower, has display halls covering 160,000 square metres as well as a 100,000 square-metre outdoor display site. Next door to these grounds Messe Berlin operates the International Congress Center Berlin (ICC Berlin), Europe’s largest conference centre. The CityCube Berlin, a new trade fair and congress arena, is currently being built on the former site of the Deutschlandhalle. As of 2014 congresses will take place here while planned restoration work takes place on the ICC Berlin. Located next to the capital’s future airport BER, Berlin ExpoCenter Airport was completed in summer 2012 and is now available for events. Messe Berlin operates a network of 72 foreign representatives in more than 130 countries around the world. Messe Berlin ranks witha bout 80 events among the top ten world's largest trade fair companies.
