The educational broker game Share Game is finished, and the winner is... Mr. Milivoje Knezevic, Head of Analysis at M&V Investments. In accordance with the idea of making this game charitable in addition to educational, representatives of eKapija and participants in Share Game have decided to donate the money from the prize fund to the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer - NURDOR.
The virtual game Share Game represents a simulation of real investments on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, and its aim was to present all aspects of this type of investment to broader public. The educational side of the game is reflected in the introduction of investments on the Stock Exchange to a big number of Internet users. Contestants started the game with the virtual capital amounting to RSD 1,000,000, which was invested in ten top securities, in their opinion, on the Belgrade Stock Exchange. During the contest, participants traded these securities and changed performances of their portfolio. Contestants always explained every move so that eKapija’s users were able to understand the principles of operations on the stock exchange and the logic guiding professional investors by following their activities.
This game gathered the following contestants: Jugoslav Cosic, a TV B92 journalist, Ivan Tasovac, director of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Jovica Jakovac, director of the real estate mediation company Solidity Real Estate, Srdjan Janicijevic, director of the company Komon Sens, Vladimir Medan, director of Basler Osiguranje, Bogdan Kuzmanovic from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Milun Trivunac from the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Vladan Pavlovic, broker analyst at Wise Broker, and Milivoje Knezevic, Head of Analysis at M&V Investments.
The winner of the game is Milivoje Knezevic, Head of Analysis&Research at the broker company M&V Investments. He graduated from the Department for Financial Management in 1999 and received a master’s degree in monetary, banking and financial management in 2003. He started his business career at Telekom Crne Gore in Podgorica as an analyst for economic-financial and accounting affairs. After spending 5 years in that position, he was hired by BDD M&V Investments as an analyst. He later assumed the position of Head of Analysis&Research at the same company. He was granted a permit to do the job of a portfolio manager from the Securities Commission in August 2009. Mr. Knezevic also possesses a license as the Chartered Accountant, which was issued to him by the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Serbia.
