The restaurant "Majur" is on Kelebija, in an old pine tree wood neer the Hungarian border. It is build to look like one of the houses in this area, so it is very representative an classy. It hase four halls which have about 95 places, a parlor and a covered terrace with about 120 places.
The menu offers national and international dishes, and the special offer is dishes prepared in front of the guest (flambed meat, pancakes and fruit).
From the great choise of drinks, we single out the home made apricot and quince brandy. The brandy is made on the Interspe property Skenderevo, out of fruit which is breeded by profesionals and is ment for personal use only.
The restaurant "Majur" is one of the first restaurants which became the class of four stars. He is the winner of gold madals on contests for turism in Serbia in the past four years. In the year 1998, restaurant "Majur" was awarded as the best two times. The first time by the choise of the Economy chamber Vojvodina. The second time it recieved the "Tourist flower" as the best restaurant by the choise of the Tourist organisatioin of Serbia. In the year 2003 it was awarded wit the "Golden tourist heart" as the best restauran in Serbia, Montenegro and Republika Srpska by the choise of SACEN Internaconol.
It is open Monday to Saturday, from 10am to 12pm. The tamburitza orchestra "Hajo' is playing every night.
