The traditional,
26th selection of the most successful
managers and companies of Southeast and Central Europe in 2012 was held on 5 June in Sarajevo.
At the ceremony,
a total of 24 managerial awards were presented to the most successful managers,
and 16 awards to the most successful individuals who do not work directly in
the business, but their actions make a more favorable environment for business
and economics.
"The winners of the award are businessmen
and companies that, this year, recorded a meteoric rise and results in economic
development, investment, environment, quality of work and employment," said on this occasion, among other
things, the President of the Organizing Committee of elections for the best
manager of Southeastern and Central Europe Pane Škrbić.
According to
him, this traditional award has become a measure of success.
Super champions
of business, i.e. the "Best Managers and Companies for 2012", as chosen
by the Jury of the Independent Agency, led by Tomislav Antunović, Chairman of
the Jury, are: President of Atlas group Duško Knežević, President of the
Management Board of HIDRIA dd Iztok Seljak and General Manager of BH Telecom d.d.
Nedžad Rešidbegović.
As said on this
occasion, Duško Knežević, President of ATLAS Group (Montenegro and Serbia) is
the winner of this award "for outstanding leadership and successful
development of business without borders, especially in the region, and
establishment of the first private university for management of investment
funds.”
At the same time, Iztok Seljak, President
of the Management Board of HIDRIA dd (Slovenia), won the award for HIDRIA
"which is the leading expert in the field of climate system
installations."
Nedžad Rešidbegović,
General Manager of BH Telecom (Bosnia and Herzegovina) won the award because,
as it was pointed out, thanks to the excellent work and organization of the
company, it takes the leading position of the most profitable companies in BiH.
