International Consortium
of Sustainable Construction "Feniks," which has so far brought
together Slovenian and Serbian companies, was joined today by successful
companies from BiH at the official signing of the Agreement on joining into a
consortium. The ceremony, in presence of prominent representatives of politics
and economy, was held within the 3rd Sarajevo Business Forum, which is
being held in the Bosnia-Herzegovinian capital.
The International
Consortium of Sustainable Construction "Feniks", which has so far
brought together over 40 extraordinary Slovenian and Serbian companies, was
founded in Belgrade in late January this year. This is a project that serves
primarily for joint participation in international markets (with an emphasis on
Russian markets or generally in the markets of Eastern and Southeastern Europe
and countries from the MENA area (Middle East North Africa region). The project
initiators were the Serbian company PSP
Farman and the Slovenian Corporation Hidria.
Today's joining of
Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies (ANS Drive Ltd, Energoinvest Inc., Euro-Asfalt
Ltd. and Širbegović Group) is of great importance for the Feniks consortium,
because in that way its competence increases and at the same time, joining of
enterprises from BiH is of great importance from the aspect of reintegration of
the region of Southeast Europe.
The project has
great potential for the entire region, which is indicated by great support of
the most prominent authority representatives of both countries which cooperate,
among them the President of Slovenia Danilo Tuerk and his Serbian counterpart Boris
Tadić. The benefits of reintegration of the region, i.e. linking successful
companies in the field of construction, has been recognized by the most
prominent representatives of BiH economy and politics. Today's ceremony was
attended by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Bakir Izetbegović.
The "Feniks"
consortium, which now brings together more than 40 successful companies with a
total of more than 4.5 billion annual turnover, and employs over 35.000 people,
remains open to further expansion. Successful companies from Croatia,
Montenegro and Macedonia are already preparing for joining further
reintegration of the region.
