Agroziv will invest EUR 15.5 million in the construction and equipping of a slaughterhouse in Zitiste, the work on which may start in September. Thanks to this new investment, Agroziv's capacity could be boosted 2.5 times.

Predrag Amizic, director general of Agroziv, said today that the level of production in the first five months of 2011 was raised to 100% of capacity across the entire production chain.

- I have to underline the fact that we launched a series of new products last year, and we have also recently opened a new distribution center in Novi Sad, with the monthly capacity of 500 tonnes of chicken meat products, and had the cooling system in the existing slaughterhouse rehabilitated to handle the increased volume of work during the whole year.
