Head of the Office of Media Relations Milivoje Mihajlovic announced today that official talks between representatives of the Serbian government and the National Bank of Serbia and an IMF delegation would commence on 6 February.
Mihajlovic told a press conference following the government session that he hoped a mutually satisfying solution would be reached at the meeting.
An IMF delegation arrived today in Belgrade to talk with representatives of Serbian authorities about planned budget guarantees and loans in 2012.
The IMF announced on January 20th that it had postponed the first review of the precautionary arrangement with Serbia because the state's guarantees and earmarks in the republic budget for 2012 exceeded the agreed amount.
