
Blanca
Hotel Resort & Spa from Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the second Regional Conference
on Health Wellness and SPA Tourism, received the Wellness Award in the category
of mountain wellness and spa hotel for development and marketing of wellness
and spa tourism on Vlašić mountain.
The
conference was held in Belgrade on 22 November 2011, organized by the Club of
Economic Journalists in cooperation with the Center for Promotion of Wellness
& SPA, which was attended by eminent domestic and foreign health, wellness
and spa professionals, in order to improve health, wellness and spa tourism in
domestic and international markets.
Apropos,
this is the second year that Blanca Hotel Resort & Spa represents Bosnia
and Herzegovina. Last year's jury at the Regional Conference on Health,
Wellness and Spa tourism nominated Radika Resort (Mavrovo, Macedonia), Terme
Olimia (Slovenia), MK Mountain Resort (Kopaonik, Serbia) and Hotel Blanca
Resort & Spa (Vlašić, BiH), where the award went to Blanca Hotel Resort
& Spa which is recognized as the newest and most luxurious hotel on Vlašić
and one of the most luxurious hotels throughout the country.
At
this year’s conference the Director of the Hotel Blanca Resort & Spa
Nikolina Jovanović discussed the current and future habits of wellness and spa
industry consumers and the need to define and differentiate health tourism, spa
tourism and wellness tourism, and becoming closer with customers with
reasonable and affordable prices so that the wellness industry by acquisition
of habits would became a profitable business. The mentioned issue created a
quality discussion and successfully contributed to the success of the second
Regional Conference on Health, Wellness and Spa tourism 2011.
