Media representatives from the EU visited the Regional Chamber of Commerce (RCC) Kragujevac on Wednesday (26 October 2011). This visit was organized by the European Commission, and the journalists were welcomed by Predrag Lucic,
director of the Agency for Investment Promotion and Business Support in Central Serbia, and Ljiljana Cvetic, secretary of the Regional Chamber of Commerce Kragujevac.
The journalists from 9 media companies: Irish Times, Der Tagesspiegel, Die Presse, Polsat, Canal Sur, l’ Echo, Czech Television, Marianne, and De Morgen, had an opportunity to hear the presentations by the partners of RCC Kragujevac, the Regional Agency for Local Economic Development, the City of Kragujevac, Business Start Up Center, and the University of Bologna.
Following the presentations, these journalists mainly asked the questions about the unemployment rate, Fiat's investments and the Serbian government's support to local actors in investment promotion. After that, the delegation visited two successful Kragujevac-based companies - SCGM and Gomma Line.
