Mr. Bricolage opens in Belgrade

The French hypermarket chain Mr. Bricolage has opened its third hypermarket in Serbia at the corner of streets Bacvanska and Gospodara Vucica in Belgrade. This facility, spanning 3,100 square meters, has 35 employees.

- After we opened hypermarkets in Nis and Novi Sad in December 2009 and June 2010, respectively, we are today opening our first store in Belgrade. Our aim is to additionally expand our operations in the Serbian market and open several new facilities in this country in 2012 and the years to come. Our three hypermarkets in Serbia employ over 100 people, which is a big step that Mr. Bricolage took by entering this market - said Ivica Djordjevic, CEO of Mr. Bricolage in Serbia.

The offer of Mr. Bricolage includes all products that are necessary for daily maintenance and decoration, as well as all products required for complete renovation and reorganization of home, garden or workshop. The newly opened hypermarket offers 25,000 articles, 3,000 of which are new and current products specially included in the offer for the Belgrade market. All 25,000 products are exhibited in accordance with the European standards of modern trade.

For all those who are creative or want to become creative, Mr. Bricolage has decided to organize workshops in its store on October 15 and 16, between 2 and 6 PM. On that occasion, all visitors will have a chance to demonstrate their creativity and find interesting ideas for the home reorganization. For example, they will learn how to decorate a wall or how to turn an interesting object, such as rake, into a cup holder.

This will be a unique opportunity for visitors to learn more about very popular art of decorating objects - decoupage. Workshops will be ran by Julija Vazic who has changed the interior of her home using "do-it-yourself" products of Mr. Bricolage and who has really managed to turn imagination into reality. Entrance is free of charge.
