Local number portability for fixed lines
will be possible as of 1 December 2012 since the Republic Agency for Electronic Communications (RATEL) has recently adopted regulations defining the requirements to be met by both operators and subscribers, said RATEL CEO Milan Jankovic.
As Jankovic explained, the operators currently rendering fixed telephony services, namely Telekom, Orion and Telenor, will have enough time to get ready for the introduction of this service.
