Belgrade-based Energoprojekt is going to join the implementation of a reconstruction project in the Mining-Smelter Basin (RTB) Bor. This company will carry out the works on the construction of a new factory of sulfuric acid, and the agreed value of that job is EUR 28.3 million.

The project investor is RTB Bor, whereas the main contractor is Canada's SNC Lavalin, with which three companies from Energoprojekt Group (Enerkoprojekt Oprema, Energoprojekt Visokogradnja, and Energoprojekt Industrija) signed an agreement in mid-September.

- This is only the beginning of our activities for RTB Bor. I believe that, in addition to the construction of a sulfuric acid plant, we will also soon join the works on the reconstruction of the smelter itself - Dimitraki Zipovski, executive director for planning at Energoprojekt, told eKapija.

The engineering-consulting company Energoprojekt Holding generated a EUR 92.4 million consolidated revenue in the first half of this year, whereas its consolidated profit amounted to EUR 979,000. The company's projected revenue for entire 2011 is EUR 237 million, while the expected profit is EUR 6.3 million.
