Billionaires Billy Ngok and Ron Burkle, who were brought to Belgrade three days ago by Serbian
tennis player Novak Djokovic, have already had a meeting
with the Serbian officials and made first agreements on investing in Serbia. As Blic daily learns, Ngok shall open a power production plant in Nis, and it has also been agreed that Sergio Tacchini products shall be manufactured in that part of Serbia. Another agreement
envisages sale of Serbian farming products to the U.S.-based hotels and market chains
owned by Ron Burkle.
- Concrete agreements with the Chinese and American businessman have already been reached, and they will be soon made official. The contracts are expected to be signed in October at the
meeting of the mixed Serbian-Chinese committee chaired by the Chinese Prime
Minister and me - Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic confirmed for Blic.Although Billy Ngok is known as Sergio Tacchini owner, he is also
known world wide as the owner of the company China Environmental Energy Holdings, which is engaged in the generation of power from solar energy and biomass.
Ngok's company is headquartered in Hong Kong, while the plant's engineering division is situated in the Silicone Valley in California.
