User in the center of the strategy-the way to increase the profit - 2nd Retail IT Summit held in Belgrade

On May 10th, at Holiday Inn hotel in Belgrade, Serbia’s
second Retail IT Summit brought together representatives of regional retail
industry and the world's leading manufacturers. On that occasion, a number of prominent representatives of
international and national manufacturers and retailers spoke on the general topic of the
Summit: User in the center of the strategy - the way to increase the
profit and how new technologies help the retailer to put the customer in the
center of our activities? Aldata presented the Inventory optimization across supply chain in Retail, representative of Wincor Nixdorf talked about New POS Solutions. Asseco
SEE representative approached the concept of Loyalty4all – Solution for
merchants.
Mr. Vladimir Majstorovic from DM joined the speakers
list with a very interesting topic - Usage of modern ERP solutions and
business improvement of retailers. Motorola presented Trends in Retail, while Mr.
Bojan Jovicic from Delta Sport presented Modern solutions for sports and
fashion in retail industry.

The representative from Datalogic Mobile
talked about new Barcode opportunities in Retail, whereas Service Plus with Mr. Milan
Lazarevic approached the concept of Innovation in Retail.
Numerous regional and
global manufacturers of hardware and software for Retail presented themselves in the
exhibition area, while the top management of regional retailers such as
Mercator, Idea, Eko petrol stations, Home Center, Tehnomanija and many
others got familiar at that one-day event with the innovations in the
area of regional and international retail brands and learned how to contribute to
the profit growth.
The event was covered by Market magazine, the exclusive
media partner, and by Microsoft’s Speak Magazine, an international media partner.
Numerious national and international Retail hardware and software
manufacturers such as Compex Systemhaus, Info-kod, Veridix, Service Plus and
others presented their products, while the speakers’ companies such as
Motorola, Asseco SEE, Datalogic Mobile, Aldata, Wincor Nixdorf and others also
became a part of a very attractive exhibition space.
