By the decision made by the Board of Creditors at the Court of Commerce in Subotica, Fidelinka Pekara bakery has gone bankrupt. As Blic daily newspaper learns, it will most probably be sold. The factory that employs over 200 workers and produces about 40,000 loaves of bread a day may be closed because it is possible that almost all equipment they lease will be taken from the factory.
As Blic learns, creditors also made the decision to rent out Pekara. There are some interested renters who would help the former giant get back to its feet and continue to operate. This bakery is the first out of ten companies within Fidelinka group to go bankrupt. Fidelinka Pekara's creditors are AIK banka, Hypo Alpe-Adria Leasing, Hypo Alpe-Adria Bank, NLB
Leasing, Univerzal Banka, Triglav Insurance, MTT Trade, and Mercedes Benz
SCG.
